Hanover Moms' New Project Gets Personal
by Heather Simpkins
Three Richmond friends have founded a company intent on offering personalized gifts that look like they cost a fortune - but didn't. The women behind 4 Fickle Friends have combined their love of shopping with whimsy crafts.
"We went out together and shopped, and thought, we can do that, and we can do that better," co-owner Jeanine Graubics says. "Our goal is to live up to that 'fickle' word. We are FOR your fickle friends and we are 4 Fickle Friends."
The company specializes in custom-made and trendy items. There are hand-made note cards with coordinating ribbon and button and embellished envelopes. Or check out the personalized linen napkins for a housewarming gifts and monogrammed bottle stoppers to add a classy touch to wine night.
The online store, at www.4ficklefriends.com, offers more than 50 fabric samples for linen guest towels, bookmarkers and key rings. Artists of all ages will enjoy the inspired crayon holders that roll up for easy storage. Most items can be personalized and cost less than $50.
"Whether you want to or not, you still need to get your mom a birthday present", Graubics says. "We have something affordable that looks like you put a lot of thought into it."
